when it was my birthday

On 31st of March, it was my birthday.My auntie and my uncle came to my house in the afternoon to celebrate my birthday for me.I was very happy because my parents bought me a cake so that I could celebrate my birthday.My auntie and my uncle also bought me some presents.When I opened it up,it was a bag that I could put my drawing block in it.It was a beautiful bag that Iwas looking for so long.During the night, my parents took me to Bishan Park to have a feast.From that day onward,I took that bag to school whenever I had Art lesson.I kept looking forward to Art lesson so that I could bring my bag to school.

a day to the East Coast

Last Friday, my parents took me to East Coast to build sandcastle.while playing, my baby sister cried.She was yelling that every one could hear her.After that,we took a rest in the tent .Everyone had an enjoyable time at East Coast even my parents!

My teacher

I have a teacher which teaches me English and Math.She is a kind and loving

teacher.Her name is Ms Brenda.If she is my only teacher that teaches me, I

would not need any tution teacher and nobody need to bother about me.

The chess competition

There was a boy, John who loves playing chess.He would play with his father every night before

he goes to sleep.One day, his father saw an advertisement in the newspaper.It was near John's

house.The community club has organised a chess competition.John's father deecided to let John

join the competition.He practised hard.During the first round of the competition, John

won.Myopponent was too strong so I lost a few rounds.A few of the people gathered around to

see who would win this competition.At the end of the competition,I lost this competition but I

still won a silver medal.

A picnic by the pond

On a Saturday morning,Tom and his sister, Jane felt bored.Tom thought of an interesting idea.He suggested that they should go to the nearby pond to catch tadpoles.They brought sandwiches, empty jars, drinks, nets and food.They put everything in a food basket and headed to the nearby pond.When they reached the pond, they took out their nets and jars and started to catch the tadpoles.They caught many tadpoles and put them in the jars.After catching the tadpoles, they felt hungry.They took out the food in the food basket and started to eat what their mother had prepared for them.They had an enjoyable time eating the delicious food.After eating the food,they felt full and headed back home immediately.

helping an old lady

Last Friday, I was doing my homework when my mother asked me to run an errand.She said

that she had run out of rice so I went to the supermarket to buy her a packet of rice.While I was

walking home,I saw an unconscious old lady.She was walking on the pavement when she fainted

suddenly.

I quickly ran to the nearest public telephone to call for the ambulance.The ambulance arrived

within five minutes.

The paramedics immediately took out the stretcher and carried the old lady into the

ambulance.She was sent to the hospital.

At the hospital,the doctor examined her.I quickly

a morning at the coffeeeshop

Last Friday morning,my family woke up early in the morning.My father decided to bring the whole family to have our breakfast at the nearby coffeshop.It was very crowded at the coffeeshop.There was a long queue at the stall selling steamed buns It is very popular among the residents in our neighbourhood.There were also stalls selling fried noodles,chicken porridge,"roti-prata",western food and chicken rice.I did not know what to choose because there were so many choices of delicious food.I finally chose the chicken rice of the fragant rice.My father bought everyone a glass of fresh soya bean milk because it is a healthy drink.At every stall,there was a long queue of people lining up to buy their food.There was some assistants taking orders and clearing the tables.We had a hearty time during breakfast time.After that,we went back home ro watch television.

One day,while Tom's was driving home,he saw a durian stall.It wrote''3 for $2."He bought several durians because Tom's family loves durians.

When he got home,his family was excited to see four durians in a bag.Tom's mother quicklywent to get a knife.His father opened up the durians quickly because everyone could not wait to eat the durians.They were tasty.The family had an enjoyable time eating durians.

One windy Sunday morning,May decided to oganize a picnic in the garden.She invited her best friend Suzy,Mary,Jane and Jill.May went into the kitchen and asked her maid to prepare some sandwiches,cookies and a jug of apple juice.At ten o'clock,May's friends arrived at her house.They had an enjoyable time chatting with each other.After talking for a long time,May and her friends were thirsty.

May reached for the milk jar on the table.She was not careful and knocked onto the spout of the tea pot.the tea pot fell onto the ground.The spout was damaged and May threw it into the rubbish bin.May's friends went back home at six o'clock.

A week later,Mary was watering the plants in her garden.She saw a bird's nest had been build nicely in the teapot that she threw away.It wasin the rose bush.She decided to pour some milk and cut some fruits for the birds to eat and drink.May also decidedto keep the bird as her pet.

At three o' clock,the school bell rang.It was time for recess.All the children were very excited because they were hungry.There was a long queue formed outside the drink stall.Tim approached John who was queueing up to buy a drink.Tim asked John if he could help him to buy a cup of Milo.John refused to help Tim to buy the drink.Just then,their teacher,Miss Lee walked past.She praised John for telling tom that cutting queue is inconsiderate.Tim felt ashamed of himself and apologized to John.He walked to the last person in the line to queue for his drink himself.Tim learnt a lesson which was not to cut queue.

the dog in the manger

One day,a dog called Browny was feeling hungry.It had not eaten for one day.While Browny was walking,it saw a cow and a horse in the manger.It asked,''Do you have any food for me because I have not eaten for one day.'' ''No,we do not have food for you but we have grass.''said the cow.The dog replied,''It is ok,I can eat grass.''Browny went in and ate some grass.He was full.He thanked the cow and horse for letting him to eat the grass.From that day onwards,the dog became friends with the cow and horse.

Our sports day

Last Monday, it was our school sports day.It was held at the Bishan stadium.The contestants were very nervous.The teacher official's hand was poised in the mid-air getting ready to fire the pistol.when the teacher fired the pistol,the contestants started runing as fast as they could to the finishing line.There were some parents among the spectators who stood up to cheer for their children.The stadium and spectator stands were adorned with streamers,banners and balloons.Along the track,there were some red cross members who were smartly-dressed in uniforms.There was a boy joining the high jump competition.He was jumping as high as he could.There was also a javelin throwing competition at the field.A boy was throwing the javelin as high as he could.In the high jump competition,there was an unconscious contestant who had fainted after jumping across the pole.One of the red cross members saw it and quickly asked two fo her members to get the stretcher.They carried the unconscious contestant and put on the stretcher and brought him to the sick bay.After three hours,the events finished.The teacher official invited the principal up on stage to give away the prizes.I was very excited because I won a silver medal in the long jump competition.I had a wonderful day at the sports day.

Spotting a beehive in school

Last Tuesday during recess, Mary, Jane and Tom decided to play hide-and -seek.Mary ran to a huge tree and hid behind it.While hiding, she heard buzzing sounds.

She looked up at the top of the tree and saw a beehive.It was hanging by a thich branch.Mary was very frightened and did not know what to do.She thought of a good idea and went to find her two friends.

After that,they ran to the principal's office to inform the principal.Mary brought her principal to the place where she found the beehive.When her principal saw it,she quickly telephoned the police.The police arrived with a zookeeper.They reached the school within fifteen minutes' time.The zookeeper removed the beeehive from the tree and brought it away.The police praised Mary for alerting them or else it will be dangerous if the bees hurt the rest of the children.

The jumble sale

One sunny afternoon, my mother brought me to a Jumble Sale at Ang Mo Kio Central.It was very crowded there.There were stalls selling clothes, bags, books and household items.I saw a hello kitty bag which cost ten dollars.It was very beatiful .I asked my mother to buy it for me.After we bought a bag, I opened it and saw a parrot brooch in it.We did not pay for the brooch.I ran back to the shop that I bought the bag from and gave it back to the sales person.She said that I could keep the brooch as I was honest.After that, we went back home.

A careless act

It was a windy day.Mrs lim was feeling thirsty.She decided to make herself a cup of honey drink.She took out a jar of honey from the refrigerator.Suddenly, it started to rain heavily.Mrs Lim put the jar of honey at the edge of the table.

When she was rushing to close the window, she was not careful adn knocked against the side of the table.The jar of honey crashed onto the floor and broke into pieces.The honey spilled all over the floor.Mrs Lim sighed,"How careless I was."She took all the glass pieces and threw them into the dustbin.She took a wet cloth and wiped the honey.Mrs Lim learnt which was to put everything on the center of the table and to be more careful the next time.

A reckless boy

Last Monday, Tim and John were going home from school.They had to cross an overhead bridge before they could get to their home.John refused to follow him.He was too lazy to climb up the stairs.

Instead, John dashed across the road when suddenly a speeeding car appeared!It could not stop in time and knocked down John.The driver saw John lying omn the road unconscious.

Tim was shocked to see John lying on the road.He quickly informed John's parents about John's accident.The driver quickly sent John to the hospital.the doctor said that John had a broken leg.He had to be hospitalized for a month.After the accident,he learnt his lesson and he will not dash across the road again.

at the bus interchange

Last Saturday, my mother and I were going to visit our grandma.We went to the Ang Mo Kio interchange to board the bus.There were long queues lining at the bus stands.In the queue, a boy was totally asborbed in his football magazine.There were three housewives lugging bagsful of groceries at the queue too.They were chatting happily.There was a newspaper vendor selling newspaper.The newspaper vendor was sitting cross-legged and listening to the radio.There was a small kioskselling a wide array of tidbits.When the bus was arriving,we saw a frustrated man kicking the coin - changing machine because it had just "eaten" up the frustrated man's money.After that, we boarded the bus and started our journey to grandma house.When we reached there,I saw grandma talking on the phone happily.We spent thirty minutes there.After that,we went back home happily.

At the library

Last weekend, my family and I went to the National libraryto borrow some books for my sister and I.When we reach there, I saw piles of book on the shelves.There were many children in the library.Some of them were reading quietly.One of the girls was putting the book back to the shelf .Some of the children were lining up waiting for their turn to stamp a date on the they wanted to borrow .They were also very quiet.The librarian said that I should return the book within three weeks' time or I will have fine to pay.After that,we went back home happily.

the stolen treasure

There was a boy called, Tom who likes to observe birds and insects.So last week, he decided to go to the forest reserve to observe birds and insects using his binoculars.While he was trekking, he heard some crooks talking.

He quickly crept and hid behind some bushes tjo investigate.He knew that three crooks were up to no good.Their faces were fierce-looking.He saw that they were burying a wooden treasure box.

When they were gone, Tom telephoned the police.Tom helped the police to dig out the treasure box.The police praised Tom helping them to solve the crime.Three days later, the crooks were caught and asked where the treasure came from.Now,the police knew that the money came from the bank and they returned it back to the bank.The crooks would have to be in jail for two years for robbery.

A chase

There was a dog called, Browny, who had lost its owner. On a cold rainy morning, Browny was watching a butcher outside his shop. Brownie wanted to steal a meat. The butcher was serving a customer when Browny took the chance to grab the bone and escaped. The butcher was taken by surprise and gave chase. Browny quickly dashed across the busy road. When the butcher saw the dog at the other side, he was fuming with rage. The dog ranto a bench and ate the meat. Browny wondered when he would find his owner again.

Autobiography of a dinosuar

My name is Dino. I am ninety-nine years old. I have colour spots all over my body. I weigh about one hundred kg. I eat plants and grass. I do not eat meat. I play with my younger silblings and other dinosaurs. I live under a huge tree. I am always very playful. I am shortsighted, that is why I am wearing a pair of glasses. I am always friendly. All the dinosaurs like me because I am a friendly dinosaur. I am so happyto have alot of friends.

Do not waste water

After dinner, Jane was washing the plates under a running tap. Her elder sister wanted to take a cup of water. When she went into the kitchen, she was angry to see jane wasting water. She told Jane that water is precious. After finished washing the plates, Jane went into the study room to do her homework.Jane's elder sister wanted to throw some rubbish into the rubbish bin.

When she went into the kitchen she was shocked to see the tap not turned off properly and water was dripping from it. She went into the study room to scold Jane. Jane apologized to her elder sister and promised her that she will turn off the tap properly in future.

A camping trip

My CCA instructor decided to bring me and the scouts to go for a camping trip last week. When we reached our destination, the sky was gloomy. Dark clouds gathered around the sky. We went about our tasks. Two boys, Tom and Tim went to the stream to fetch a pail of water.Jack went to pitch up the tents. The rest of us prepared a meal of instant noodles for ourselves.After eating, we would help those pupils who had not eaten. We helped them to do their things so that they would have their food as well. After we had finished eating, the rain came and we went inside our tents to rest. After the camping trip, we learnt how to pitch tents, fetch water from streams, start a fire and prepare meals for ourselves.

Kenny the bully

Kenny is a big and tall boy. He was always rude and unfriendly to both his teacher and friends. During recess one day, he decided to bully a younger student, John. John was afraid of him. Some of the students saw it and quickly ran to tell their form teacher, M.r.Nib. M.r.Nib quickly stopped them from fighting. Kenny was sent into the principal's office. During assembly, Kenny was caned in front of the whole school. After the punishment. Kenny did not dare to bully anyone again because he felt ashamed of himself when he was caned in front of the whole school. He regretted doing that.

Lucy's adventure

One beautiful Tuesday afternoon, Lucy was going home from school. She wanted to rush to catch her favourite cartoon programme. She saw her bus 505 and boarded it quickly. But it was bus 515. After half an hour, she realised that she took took the wrong bus. She wanted to cry but luckily she saw a police station nearby. She quickly told the bus driver to stop the bus.

She went down the bus and went into the police station. She told the police the policeman that she had lost her way. The policeman asked her for her mother's telephone number and helped her called her mother.

After 15 minutes, Lucy's mother came to fetch Lucy. Lucy's mother was relieved that Lucy was safe. That day, Lucy learnt a lesson which was to be more careful the next time.

Bicycle ride

It was a sunny Saturday afternoon, Jane and Mary decided to go to East Coast park to rent two bicycles. They went to the bicycle kiosk to rent two bicycles.

They ride their bicycle along the bicycle track. Two men were fishing by the sea. There were some people resting under the hut.

A few minutes later, Mary's bicycle tyre was flat. Jane asked Mary to sit behind her back of the seat and pull her bicycle. Jane will ride the bicycle to the bicycle kiosk.

A child who likes to listen to stories

After dinner, Tom wants his father to tell some stories. His father will tell him about fairy tales, adventures, detective and more stories.

He will share whatever stories that his father tell him and tell it to his friends. His friends usually listen to him attentively because the stories are very interesting. Now, Tom knows how to tell stories. He can tell stories to his friends and his parents whenever he wants to say. Tim is a fast learner.

The worm

There was two hens called Lucy hen and Mary hen. One day, Lucy hen was finding some worms for breakfast. While Lucy was walking, she found a juicy worm.

Lucy wanted to picked it up when she saw her best friend, Mary. Lucy said," I found it first." But Mary disagreed with her and Mary said, " I saw it first." Mary and Lucy kept urguing.

They ended up fighting with each other. The juicy worm took the chance to escape.

By the time they stopped fighting, they realised that the worm had gone. They said that they should have shared the worm. They apologised to each other and forgave each other. They had nothing to eat for breakfast that morning and went home hungrily.

An inconsiderate act

Ali went to his friend's house one Sunday. His friend's mother gave him two bananas. On the back home, Ali ate his banana. He threw the banana skins on the pavement eventhough a dustbin was beside him.

Out of the blue, he saw a boy, Tom, riding his skateboard over the banana skins. The skateboard lost control. Tom crashed into a lamppost and his forehead was bleeding heavily.

Ali quickly took Tom to the nearbuy clinic for treatment. Ali apologised to Tom for throwingthe banana skins on the pavement. Tom forgave Ali and told him to be more considerate in future.

Ali learnt a lesson and will not throw anything on the pavement again.

An unforgetable day at the beach

One beautiful Sunday , my parents decided to bring me and my sister to the East Coast Park beach to take a dip.

We spotted a shady spot and laid the picnic mat. My mother listened to the music on the portable radio, while my father read the newspapers. My sister and I change into our swimming costumes. We jumped into the seaside after we had changed.

In the afternoon, my sister and I went to take a shower. We joined our parents to eat shortly. We ate noodles, fried rice and chicken wings.

We went home happily and feeling full. It was an enjoyable day at the beach for our family.

At the bookshop

It was a beautiful Sunday. My mother decided to bring me to the bookshop.

At the bookshop, it was very crowded. Some customers were reading while some were browsing books. There were also customers at the magazine stands flipping through the latest magazines. Some of the children were at the children's section reading interesting storybooks.

Three mischievious children were playing hide-and-seek. They were disturbing the other customers who were reading.

An old woman was chosing a greeting card for her son because her son's birthday was coming soon.

At the right hand side of the corner, one of the mother was trying to soothe her baby from crying.

Finally, my mother had chosen some books for me and some magazines for herself.

We went to the cashier to pay for the items. We went home happily after that.

Helping a woman on a raining day

It was raining heavily. The bus stop was very crowded.

A girl, Jane, was waiting for a bus to come. Suddenly, she saw an old woman slipped and fell. All the things she bought scattered on the ground.

Jane went to help her to put all the groceries back into the bags. Mrs. Lim and Mr.Lim went to help the woman up.

Eventhough, the bus had gone, Jane was not worried.

After fifteen minutes, the bus came again. She boarded the bus.

She gave the bags of groceries to the old woman.

When she came back, her mother asked her,"Why are you so late?" She explained to her mother what had happened. Jane's mother did not scold her but she praised her for doing a good deed.

Jane felt happy that day!

The nightmare

One night, John was sleeping. He had a bad dream. He did not sleep well.

He was dreaming that a large vampire bat was chasing him. He was shouting for help. When he open the door, he saw a skeleton. He kept running and he saw a dark figure chasing him.

When he woke up, he screamed in fright. He was perspiring. He realised that it was just a bad dream. He drank a cup of water and went back to sleep again.

A boy who lost temper

One beautiful Saturday morning, John woke up happily.

He took out his savings and started counting his money. Suddenly, it started raining heavily. He went to the living room to close the windows.

His sister, Jane, was up to mischief. She crept into his brother's room and played with his money. She threw the money on the floor.

John saw what she did and was angry. He shouted loudly at his younger sister, "You are the naughtiest girl I have ever seen!" Jane started crying aloud.

John said that he would their mother when she was back.

That day, John lost his temper at her sister.

A barbeque at home

It was a beatiful Sunday.

The Tan's family decided to have a barbeque at their garden. They took out the barbeque pit and other necessary things.

Mr Tan was cooking while singing along. Mrs Tan also prepared fried rice for them. John was sitting on his baby pram playing with his rattle. The dog, Joe, was lazing under the bench. Tom, Tim and Jane were playing football near the tree.

Tim fell and dirted his shirt. When he stood up, everyone laughed at him.

They finished their barbeque at 7:00pm.

They had an enjoyable day.

To the rescue

One beautiful Sunday morning, Tim and Tom went to play beside the canal. They jumped into the canal and threw their ball in. But the water level was too high and they shouted for help.

A girl heard the two boys shouting. She quickly swam to them because they were drowning.

She saved the two boys. The boys thanked her.

Their parent also thanked the brave girl for saving their children. Tim and Tom learnt a lesson which was not to play in the canal again.

The girl's parents also praised her for doing a good deed.

A mischievous boy

It was a beautiful Friday afternoon. Tom and his grandfather went to the park.

Tom felt very bored while his grandfather went to take a walk. Tom saw some twigs on the ground.

He decided to make a catapult with some twigs and a rubber band. He decided to find an object to shoot at. Just then, he found a bird's nest on a tree. He shot down the nest and some eggs were broken.

When his grandfather saw what had happened, he reprimanded Tom. He explained to Tom that the mother bird would be upset to find her nest and eggs destroyed.

He felt ashamed of himself. He promised his grandfather that he will not do that again.

A dream that came true

On a sunny Friday, May went down to a shop selling many dolls. The doll were too expensive.

She always sreamed of having a cute doll. She loved to cuddle her doll when she sleep.

She came from a poor family. Her parents could not afford to buy a doll for her.

On her birthday, her uncle visited her and gave her a surprise. May was overjoyed when she opened the box. He bought her a cute doll that she dreamed of having.

From that day onwards, she had a doll to sleep with her.

Her dream had really come true! She screamed for joy!

She gave a name to the doll. It was, Jane.

An accident

One fine day, Tom was playing soccer with his friends. He was enjoying himself.

Suddenly, Tim kicked the ball too hard and the ball roll to the road. Tom did not see a car approaching him. He was knocked down by the car.

Soon, there was blood on the floor.

The driver quickly took Tom to the hospital. The doctor advised him to stay in the hospital till he recovered.

He dared not play near the road again and he will look everywhere when he crosses the road.

Making kites

It was a windy day. Tom and Jerry decided to make a kite.

They made a kite using waxpaper. They also decorated the kite with many bright colours. They also used bamboo strips to make the kite's frame. They also sticked the decorated cloth on the kite's frame. Tom added a long tail to the kite.

They felt happy and proud of themselves. They brought their beautiful kites to fly in the open field.

The botanic garden

Botanic garden is one of my family's favourite place. We will be there if we are free. Last Sunday, my parents brought us there. In the garden, we saw many different kinds of beautiful trees and shrubs. There were boys, Tom and Tim cycling in the park. We also took many pictures and saw many litter bins for us to throw our rubbish. There were some people exercising and chatting along the way. Some rested under the trees while some were jogging. We liad the mat neatly under a shady tree and had our picnic.

My surprise birthday party

Yesterday was my birthday party. My parents gave me presents. I wondered why my friends did not call me. I was feeling a little sad. Suddenly, the doorbell rang. I quickly opened the door and my friends shouted,''Surprise!'' They had brought presents, cake and drinks. My family had planned for this surprise birthday party for me. I had a great time and it was the best party I ever had.

Trapped in an elevator

Last Tuesday, Tim's mother asked Tim to buy a banana cake for his little brother. When he came back,he went into the lift and pressed the button for level five, suddenly, the lift stopped moving and it broke down. He cried and banged the door for help. His neighbour heard him crying and called the technicans. After 5 minutes, the techanicans rescued Tim and he was saved. From that day onwards, Tim does not dare to take the lift anymore.

Chinese New Years

Before Chinese New Year, my parents brought me and my two younger sister to OG. Mummy b0rought us new dresses and shoes for the Chinese New Year.

In the evening, we had steamboat for reunion dinner. After that,daddy and mummy brought us to Chinatown for a walk. It is very crowded and noisy there. We watch the lion dance performance and did our last minute shopping.

First day of Chinese New Year,we went to our grandparents house. We brought two oranges to wish them happy Chinese New Year. I recieved many red packets from my relatives.

After lunch, my cousinand I went down to the void~deck to skate. We played til midnight before our parents brought us home.

I have a great time this Chinese New Year!

Philip goes to the dentist.

On a Saturday morning, Philip woke up and ate some sweets. Suddenly, he felt a sharp pain in his teeth. He told his mother about it.

His mother brought him to the dentist. The examined his teeth and found that he had 2 bad teeth .The dentist then pulled out his bad teeth.

From that say onwards, Philip takes cares of his teeth.

He learnt his lesson and will not eat too much sweet again. He also promised his mother that he will drink more milk and visit the dentist once every 6 months.

(Now I know that it is not healthy to eat sweets.)

My family!

There are five people in my family. Their names are Mr.Ang, Mrs.Ang, my two younger sister and I. I stay in Ang Mo Kio.

My father is a teacher. My mother is a housewife. My younger sister is still studying in kindergarten but my youngest sister has not gone to school yet.

I like my father and mother most because they love me.

During Saturdays and Sundays, I will go out with them. This is how I spend my time with my family.

The good friends

Sally and I are good friends. We grow up togerther because we are neighbours. Our parents knows each other since young. We were adorable babies girls then.

Every morning, we will go to school in our smart uniforms. In the afternoon, we will go back home in our school bus. When we reach home, we will do our homeowork before eating. Then, we will play games and watch television.

Sometimes, both our family will go out on Sunday. Sally is likes my sister.

At the swimming pool!

Sunday morning, my mother brought me to Toa Payoh swimming pool for the swimming competition. I change to my swimming costume and went to water~polo pool to do my warm~up. After warming~up, coach Tyson took my atenddence at the waiting area. Today, I am taking part in two event, the first event is 50 metre freestyle and second event is 50 metre breaststroke. I am very happy because I came in second for both events. After the event, I play with my friend at the water~polo pool.I went outside the swimming poolto drink milo before going home.

At school!!!

When we come back from class, we greeted Miss Brenda. We read a story call " A butterfly is born." After we read the book, she thought us what is compound word. Compound is like butterfly, we put them into two groups. Butter is one group and fly is one group that is what I call compound word. She give us 10 pieces of paper in green and blue colour paper. She take a piece of blank paper out and we are suppose to give us the word that we have form. I enjoy playing with the cards!!

At the swimming pool!!

On the Friday evening, I went to learn swimming. We went in to the room to talk. In the room, Tyson tell our mistake and what are we suppose to do when we go out the room. We have our 400 metre mark.(any stroke) After that, we have 15 metre mark (x2).(any stroke) Follow by 25 metre mark (x2).(any stroke) Follow by 35 metre mark(x2).(any stroke) Lastly, 50 metre mark(x2).(any stroke) I enjoy swimming because it is very relaxful!! Hooray!!!!!

A trip to Sentosa!

Before December school holidays, our teacher, Miss Goh brought us to Sentosa. We boarded the bus to Sentosa. When we reached Sentosa, we went to the Underwater World. There were all kinds of sea creatures. We felt close to them. Tim's saw a fish suddenly, a shark swam past him. He was shocked. Next, we went to the Musical Fountain and saw beautiful sprays of waters. We rested at the beach and had our lunch. We took the school bus and went back to the place that our parents would fetch us. We hope that our parents will bring us to Sentosa again. We enjoyed ourselves very much.

The greedy dog

On a sunny Friday, Tim's friend Jenny shared her bone with him. Jim took the bone away from Jenny and he took it for a walk. When he was crossing a bridge, he saw another dog with a bone in the river. He thought that the other bone was bigger. He opened his mouth and wanted to snatch it. His own bone dropped into the water. Jim did not know that it was his own reflection. Jim lost his and he also and he also could not take the bone from the '' river dog.'' At last, Jim did not have any food to eat because he had lost his bone. That day, Jim learnt a lesson which was not to be greedy.

Buying T-shirts and socks.

Saturday afternoon, we went to IMM to buy our t-shirt and socks to prepare for Chinese New Year. My sister and I bought the same dress but daddy and mummy haven't bought a single shirt yet. They are still finding their own shirt. We will wear our shirt during Chinese New Year so that we can give everyone a surprise.

First day at school!!!! Hooray!!!!!

It is the first day of school, we can pack our things and starts every things happy with a smiling face even starts every things again. We were very excited to know that who is our form teacher however some of them ask Miss Lin who is our form teacher. While they are asking, we are reading a book silently.

Before going back to class, the teacher tell us who is our form teacher. Our form teacher is Miss Brenda and she is a pretty woman.

After telling the classes who is their teacher, we went back to class. We went back to class and read the classrules. After reading the classrules, we play some games. At 2:30, we went to the hall for the buddy stystem. Luckily I was not been choseted. We went for
recess happily!!

I enjoy myself alot during recess and having fun at recess!! After recess, we are supposed to essembbled at the hall! However I still enjoy myself alot and having alot of fun during recess!!
